In this intensive 2-day programme held at Acibadem Taksim Hospital, mornings are devoted to theoretical training and video analyses, while afternoons are spent observing live cases in the operating theatre. Led by IESA faculty, the programme offers a professional development experience in boutique groups of up to 5–6 participants.
Limited to a maximum of 5–6 participants, this workshop format is designed to provide each attendee with personal attention and direct feedback — both in the theoretical sessions and during live surgery in the operating theatre.
Each workshop session is enriched by IESA's experienced faculty and guest specialist surgeons. This model — built around two expert instructors and a limited number of participants — enhances technical variety while providing intensive case analysis and mentorship.

The original workshop methodology developed by IESA has proven itself both in Turkey and on the international stage. Successfully delivered across a wide geography — from Pakistan to the Gulf states, from Europe to the Middle East — these programmes demonstrate the universal validity, technical depth and full alignment with global standards of our training.
Our workshop programme consists of an intensive 2-day curriculum that combines theoretical depth with clinical practice. The entire process unfolds across the following 6 steps, under the guidance of IESA faculty in the academic environment of Acibadem Taksim Hospital:
A comprehensive briefing on the anatomical foundations of endoscopic spine surgery, patient selection criteria and instrument technology. The radiological assessment and planning strategies essential for a successful surgical outcome are detailed.
Frame-by-frame technical analysis of procedures performed by IESA faculty. Critical surgical steps, technical pearls and avoidance of common errors are discussed interactively with high-resolution video.
The stage where theoretical knowledge is brought into the operating theatre environment. Technical application details are experienced alongside real surgical instruments and advanced fluoroscopy guidance.
Participants' own cases or selected complex files are placed on the table. An academic discussion platform is created around surgical decision-making, complication management and alternative treatment approaches.
Personalised recommendations for adapting the training to clinical practice. Participants receive one-to-one mentorship support from IESA faculty for the specific challenges they face in their own surgical workflow.
Surgeons who successfully complete the 2-day intensive training curriculum are presented with an official participation certificate approved by the Istanbul Endoscopic Spine Academy (IESA), carrying international academic validity.
